Echo Through the Present
Galleri Mors Mössa, 1/6-28/7, 2005 123456789101112131415161718192021
On the opening day (1/6) a series of drawings were created using the coffee in the cups on the table. These drawings were then hung on the walls or placed on the floor of the outer gallery space. A small cutout figure, a self-portrait representing myself as I appeared that day, was placed on the floor. In one corner was a painting I had made the night before. Also in the space was a ladder used to place the drawings on the wall. A potted plant, which I had recieved as a gift from a friend on the opening, was placed next to the cut-out figure. In the inner room a large painting representing a figure (a self-portrait) standing outside an apartment building was leaned against the wall.
