Echo Through the Present
Galleri Mors Mössa, 1/6-28/7, 2005 123456789101112131415161718192021

On thursday 21/7 I continued to brew coffee, filling up the coffeecups in the outer gallery space and placing them on the table. In addition to the 17 original cups an additional paper cup (left over from a take-away coffee purchased earlier and having remained on the floor of the outer gallery space) was filled up as well. Once all the coffeecups had been filled, the coffee was mixed by transferal from one cup to the next. Using the coffee in the final cup I painted a small self portrait, which was cut out and placed on the floor by the table in the outer gallery space.
A drawing of a figure listening to a walkman was placed on the wall by the table. The drawings on the floor around the large painting leaning against the wall opposite from the table were removed.
In the inner gallery space I made some new drawings which were placed on the carpet. The cut-out coffee-drawing of a building was placed on the wall above the large drawing on the floor. The painting of the skull structure was leaned against the same wall. A drawing of an ornate chalice was hung on the wall. Both a color drawing and a pencil drawing with Star Wars themes were taken from the floor and hung on the wall.
The painting of a head above a landscape was moved from the outer gallery space (where it had been hanging behind the large painting leaned against the wall) and placed next to the painting of two figures outside of an apartment building in the inner gallery space. The paintings of a figure standing outside of a building and of a ice-landscape were both removed from the gallery.
